January 26-27, 1993: The National Association of Television Programming Executives (NATPE) held their annual convention in San Francisco, CA. Talk show hosts and TV stars gathered at Moscone Convention Center to promote syndication of their series. The most excitement at the convention was generated by "Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak and his letter-spinning sidekick, Vanna White.
