Queen Elizabeth
Royal Olympics
All the royal family assembled in Canada to watch Princess Anne competing in the three-day equestrian event at the Montreal Olympics. There was anxiety as the Princess, riding the Queen's horse Goodwill, had a nasty fall on the cross-country course, which was made slippery by rain. She recovered to complete the course, although she was later found to be concussed.
PS: Watching in the rain: The Queen and her youngest son, Prince Edward, 12.
