Princess Margaret, just back from holiday on the Caribbean island of Mustique, went to a fund-raising banquet for the Oxford-Cambridge boat race at Caesar's Palace, Luton, Bedfordshire, on Sunday night (7/3/76). Although it was the 16th birthday of her husband, Lord Snowdon, he did not attend despite his close connection with the boat race—he was cox of the Cambridge crew in 1950. He is said to be abroad.
