Liza Minnelli opened an unprecedented three-week concert engagement at New York's Carnegie Hall for a three-week engagement. Her engagement constitutes the longest continuous appearance by a solo performer in the venue's 96-year history. Liza has not appeared in concert in NYC since her record-setting 12-night engagement at Carnegie Hall in 1979. Following tonight's performance, a party was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Marvin Hamlisch is the musical arranger for Liza's show.
