July 7, 1983: Fast gaining a reputation as one of the world's greatest fighters and lovers, Ryan O'Neal was in good spirits following dinner at Sardi's Restaurant in New York. Ryan had hugs and a big smile for his favorite girl, Farrah Fawcett and her lovely mother who popped into The Big Apple from her home in Texas. The trio celebrated the hanging of Farrah's caricature by artist Baratz, a tradition at the famous Broadway eatery and night spot where players await critic's reviews on opening night. Ryan was in from Hollywood where he is putting the finishing touches on a new movie with Drew Barrymore and Shelley Long. Meanwhile, lovely Farrah packs the house every night at the West Side Arts Theater where she is starring in 'Extremities,' a play about rape and revenge.
