May 5th, 1983 A gala dinner party was held tonight at Halston's Olympic Towers showroom on Fifth Avenue, NYC. The party was held following a benefit performance of PRIVATE LIVES for the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance. Elizabeth Taylor, (wearing her stage wig) was the guest of honor as she is starring in the Broadway production of PRIVATE LIVES, a play by Noel Coward which she stars with her ex-husband, Richard Burton.
